Since the 31-year-old was granted custody, has James Kennedy of Vanderpump Rules talked to his former partner Raquel Leviss about his puppy Hippie?

On Saturday, November 4, at BravoCon 2023, the reality TV star and his 27-year-old new girlfriend Ally Lewber discussed their dog Hippie and how he has adapted to living with them and their two cats. James gushed about his dog, calling him “amazing” and “so good.” “He’s so great,” Ally continued. “I love him.” She also mentioned that he’s been a “great boy” and that he’s thrilled with the new yard.

Fans may recall that, earlier this year, James adopted the dog from his former girlfriend Raquel. The Hollywood DJ confessed to Us Weekly that he hasn’t had contact with his ex-girlfriend since adopting the pooch.

Fans of Pump Rules may remember getting to know Hippie when he was known as Graham Cracker, having been given the character as a present by Raquel, 29. Raquel continued to be James’ guardian even after the two broke up and called it quits on their engagement in 2021.

Pump fans may remember that Raquel made news earlier this year when, following her tumultuous affair with Tom Sandoval, she put herself into a mental health institution. James subsequently disclosed that he was taking care of the dog, despite the fact that supporters thought Raquel’s family was caring for Graham while she was focusing on herself.

In July, James took to Instagram, captioning a photo of him and his pooch during season 11, “Look who made his way back home, back into my life. I’ll take care of you forever, and I love you.”

James and Ally were interviewed by Extra after a riveting panel at BravoCon 23 in Las Vegas. The question of what astonished the two about the panel was posed to them. “Seeing all of these people in the same room together surprised me,” James remarked, “and it was just cool to see all of my favorite people from all the shows!”

With a giggle, the veteran of Vanderpump Rules hinted that it was “surprising to see who’s friends with who.” She also asked, “Who likes me?” When queried later about the two’s plans for this season, James said that he had purchased a house and was DJing. He did, of course, also mention Hippie.

He didn’t say a lot about the upcoming season 11 of the show except to declare, “It thickens. It keeps thickening.” He added, “There are definitely resets, the pot’s still hot. You just gotta turn the faucet on a little bit and the water starts boiling again.”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres January 2024 on Bravo and Peacock.
