According to General Hospital (GH) teasers, Willow Tait Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) bone marrow transplant will most likely be successful in curing her leukemia. There is now a lot of hope that the young mother will be okay, owing in part to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Having saying that, fans haven’t seen much of the good doctor since her Haunted Star journey in Greenland. The actress who plays the show-stealing character was recently questioned about this on social media, and she was eager to respond.
Uh-Oh! Kathleen Gati Has Settled In Arizona
On May 31st, Gati mentioned on Twitter how much she loved the “mountains of Arizona”, which caused some panic among fans. After all, GH is filmed in L.A., so how can she call Arizona home? In addition, Obrecht’s leading man, Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) also recently revealed his legendary character was written out of the show. There was slight reason for some to worry.
The good news is that she’s been living in AZ for about three years now. The even better news is that she clarified in a tweet that she commutes from Arizona to California whenever she needs to film scenes for the show. It’s about a six-to-seven-hour drive; however, she seems happy to do it, and GH viewers are even more grateful that she does.
Gati Has Been All Over The World
Gati stated in subsequent tweets that she was born to Hungarian parents and raised in a European environment in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Kathleen explained that she was born after her mother and father fled Hungary. Ms. Gati also lived in Victoria, British Columbia for almost ten years before moving to Seattle, New York, Budapest, Los Angeles, and now Arizona!
