The actress apologised for being quiet on social media and explained the real reason why.
Outlander star Nell Hudson has announced that she is expecting her first baby.
Nell, who plays Laoghaire MacKenzie in the time-travelling show, took to social media to announced the sweet news.
Sharing a sweet snap of her smiling to the camera holding her bump, Nell penned: “hello it’s been a while, very happy to share some big news! I’m pregnant”, alongside a series of heart emojis.
Nell is expecting her first child with her fiance, film producer Maximillian King.
And many fans and friends flocked to the comments to send the couple well-wishes.
One penned:”NELL!!! what amazing news! Massive congratulations to you and @maxking.space! Coolest parents there ever was xx.”
Another said: “Oh Nell!! Many congrats and what wonderful news! So happy for you.”
Maximillian proposed to her in Paris last year.
The star, after already posting several pictures of their trip together, shared a cute snap of them with her engagement ring, writing: “Oh sorry actually just one more from Paris – WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!!” (sic)
Jamie Fraser’s (played by Sam Heughan) second wife Laoghaire has caused plenty of trouble for him and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) over the years and returned once again for the second half of season seven.
Away from acting, Nell is an author and released her debut novel Just For Today in 2022, which is also being turned into a TV show, according to her Instagram.
Her book is about friendship, falling in love and being young in the noughties.
She is also a yoga instructor and during the covid pandemic she taught virtual classes online.
