The 44 year old heartthrob, known not only for his acting chops but also as a producer, author, and entrepreneur, has been busy promoting his whisky brand Sassenach Spirits across the States, reports the Scottish Daily Express.

After wrapping up his winter tour, which saw adoring fans lining up for hours to catch a glimpse of the Outlander star, Sam concluded his journey in San Diego. Taking to social media, he shared a heartfelt message alongside snapshots from the tour, penning: “You brought the energy, and we brought the show! #SassenachWinterTour might be over but the memories will live on. If you missed the tour, don’t miss the merch. Last call.”

Fans were quick to flood the comments with praise, with one admirer commenting: “I’ve been watching the reels and I admire Sam for how he treats each of his fans as an individual and gives them all a moment of his undivided attention. That’s charisma. I hope you lads will get a few days rest in there somewhere.”

Speaking directly to his fans, Sam revealed: Well, that’s it. The final ADR [Automated Dialogue Replacement] on Outlander completed on the Universal lot.”

He continued, visibly moved by the moment: “The studio’s behind me but yeah, very emotional and very excited for fans to see the final episode.”

Sam added, hinting at the intensity of the finale: “It’s going to be quite, quite an emotional one but I know you’re going to love it. Thank you Jamie.”
