During her appearance on Amazon Live last week, Lisa Rinna talked about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her former castmates. In addition to discussing her husband Harry Hamlin’s Thanksgiving plans and confirming that she is watching season 13, Lisa, 60, also provided an update on the Fox Force Five, revealed which of her former co-stars she is closest to, and said whether or not she would appear on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip. Lisa announced her departure from the cast in January.
Lisa stated, “I have not watched the show,” when she appeared on Amazon Live on November 17.
Still, she maintains communication with her co-stars.
“I still have my ‘Fox Force Five’ text – we still have that text going… don’t think we don’t. Yes we do, ‘Fox Force Five’ is alive and kicking,” she stated, adding, “Everybody hated that, they just wanted to tear us apart. It was so funny. They just were like, ‘Oh my god we hate that, we just hate them, tear them apart.’ Haha – didn’t work!”
As RHOBH fans will recall, the Fox Force Five consists of Lisa, Kyle Richards, 54, Erika Jayne, 52, Dorit Kemsley, 47, and Teddi Mellencamp, 42, and originated during their season nine trip to Provence.
“We bonded over that – there were five of us trying to make a show, so we definitely bonded over that,” she explained.
When Lisa was then asked if she’d like to appear on RHUGT, she shared her dream cast.
“Maybe the ‘Fox Force Five’, and we add [Nene Leakes], [Bethenny Frankel] and Lisa Vanderpump. That would be a great cast right there – wouldn’t that be wild?” she wondered.
Moving on to why she believes Teddi often faces fan backlash, Lisa said she doesn’t quite get it.
Teddi was, in my opinion, one of the best housewives ever. Teddi Mellencamp is the best at sleuthing out the truth, she said. Teddi is the one who knows everything, so whenever we forget something or get called out on something, you contact her and ask, ‘What happened here?’ Teddi Mellencamp is amazing.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, in my opinion. I’ll stick by my statement that Teddi is one of the best housewives we’ve ever had—I believe she was misunderstood. She is skilled at stirring things up; you need people who don’t mind stirring things up. I doubt that anyone is now stirring it over there. It’s boring else,” she continued.
Also during her Amazon Live appearance, Lisa shared Harry’s plans for Thanksgiving.
“I don’t believe Harry is a cook. We’re probably heading to someone’s house, she said. “[Delilah Hamlin] and her boyfriend will be at the farm in New York.” We have no idea what to do because we just learned that [Amelia Hamlin] is coming.
After that, Lisa nodded toward Harry’s new program.
“He has a new show coming out in December, so you have to watch it: Cooking with Harry Hamlin on AMC+!”
