Ever since Esme woke up at the hospital with amnesia, the General Hospital fan base started speculating whether the she-devil really has it, or is faking. However, as the story progressed, it became more likely that Esme really did lose her memory. However, she continued to receive heat for all the evil stunts she had pulled in the past. Most recently, Joss spotted her with Spencer and ripped into Esme, accusing her of trying to steal Trina’s boyfriend. Esme fought back claiming that she is not the old Esme. But Joss wasn’t buying it at any cost! Now, the latest spoilers tease that Esme feels like she really needs to figure out what she really did in her past. Thus, she will reach out to her mother, Heather Webber in the upcoming episodes.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Ally Mills will return to the soap as Heather during the week of July 17-21, 2023. Hence, fans can expect a lot of drama and thrill! Oh, and trouble, of course! Cheryl Francis Harrington as Irene on General Hospital
Viewers who tuned into the July 13, 2023, episode of General Hospital were treated to a new face on the soap. Curtis, who is battling for his life right now, slipped into the other side for a while. There, he had a surprising encounter with his late mother, Irene Ashford. Although Irene had been previously mentioned by Curtis and Marshall, we never really saw her on the screen. Neither in any photographs nor in any flashback scenes. But that has changed now, Irene finally appeared in her son’s subconscious. When Curtis slipped to the other side, Irene welcomed him. Furthermore, she urged him to join her in going to meet his brother. However, Curtis kept hearing TJ’s voice, asking him to hold on and fight for Trina and Portia.
Irene immediately came to the conclusion that Curtis’ time on General Hospital was most likely not yet over. She therefore tenderly assured him that she would be there for him once the right moment arrived. After saying that she would like to meet her granddaughter, she left Curtis’ field of vision. Curtis was therefore told to go back to the side of the living. Contrary to popular belief, Cheryl had appeared on General Hospital before, despite this being her debut appearance as Irene. In 2015, she performed the role of Doreen Zupan, a Child Protective Services agent. But watching her play Irene was so touching. She may or may not reappear in Curtis’ vision in the future.
