IT’S NICE TO have a Sunday routine, isn’t it? For many Americans, Sundays consist of an early wake-up, a nice breakfast, and then settling in to watch some football. For fans of a certain Sylvester Stallone television show, though, this fall is going to include another vital Sunday morning staple: watching a new episode of Tulsa King, which is finally returning for its second season two years after the debut of the first.

Coming from producer Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, etc) and showrunner Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire), Tulsa King was a major success in its first season, weaving some fish-out-of-water comedy and traditional mafia crime drama together to make a show that was ultimately a whole lot of fun. Following longtime mafioso Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) as he emerges into the present day after 25 years behind bars, Tulsa King also manages to fold in family drama, marijuana dispensary business, and a whole cast of fun supporting characters. It’s a good time and an easy watch—perfect for a pre-football Sunday routine.

Almost the entire cast from season 1 returns—which, in addition to Stallone, includes Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, and Garrett Hedlund, among others—but now we get a chance to see some more formidable villains added to the mix as well. That means characters played by old Taylor Sheridan friend Neal McDonough (who played a villain in Yellowstone) and action staple Frank Grillo. It should be fun—and a fun test for Stallone’s Dwight to overcome.
Below, we’ve got all the information you need to make sure you don’t miss a single episode of Tulsa King season 2.
