Sylvester Stallone shared a new behind-the-scenes image of Tulsa King season 3 that showed Dwight Manfredi shortly after he was abducted by a mysterious group. At the end of Tulsa King season 2, Dwight (Stallone) was abducted from his bed by a group of masked operatives and brought to a shadowy interrogation facility. An unidentified character who likely has ties to the United States government and the FBI then told Dwight “You work for us now.” It was one of the biggest mysteries for Tulsa King season 3 to solve, and Sylvester Stallone has given fans a sneak peek at what will happen.
In an Instagram post, Sylvester Stallone shared a photo of Dwight in the same interrogation room he was in at the end of Tulsa King season 2. That moment was only shown briefly at the end of the season, however, and it’s clear that Dwight has a different expression and demeanor in Stallone’s post. It seems that Tulsa King season 3 will pick up right where season 2 left off and depict the rest of the conversation Dwight has with his mysterious abductor. Stallone accompanied the post with the caption “Things are getting nasty in TULSA!”
What Sylvester Stallone’s BTS Photo Means For Tulsa King Season 3
Tulsa King Season 3 Should Pick Up Right Where Season 2 Left Off
The biggest takeaway from Sylvester Stallone’s picture is that Tulsa King season 3 will likely pick up right where season 2 left off. Just as Tulsa King season 2 immediately dealt with Dwight’s arrest, the upcoming season will likely waste no time in ending the suspense and getting into the meat of its new story. It also seems that Dwight is (understandably) none too happy about his situation, which sets up another violent and action-packed season of Tulsa King. There’s a very good chance that Tulsa King season 3 will hit the ground running and not lose any of the momentum its first two seasons built up.
Our Take On Dwight’s Abduction In Tulsa King Season 3
Tulsa King Season 3 Could Be The Show’s Biggest & Most Dangerous So Far
Dwight’s abduction is quite similar to his arrest at the end of Tulsa King season 1, but it also has the potential to set up an entirely different installment for the show. It’s clear that Dwight is going to be working for some group that doesn’t have his interests at heart in Tulsa King season 3, which could completely change the dynamic of the series. Up to now, we’ve seen Dwight trying and succeeding to carve his own path. Tulsa King season 3’s abduction storyline could see Dwight with his back against the wall like never before, which would certainly be a refreshing change of pace.
With a man as dangerous and deadly as Dwight, having his back against the wall means things should get quite violent quite quickly. As he struggles to get his freedom back, Dwight could easily turn Tulsa King season 3 into the show’s bloodiest and most action-packed installment yet. I, for one, am very excited to see that, as Tulsa King’s action scenes are real highlights of the entire series. I feel like Tulsa King is really leaning into the parts of itself that make it such a unique show, and I hope that decision pays off in dividends.
