Outlander star Jessica Reynolds, famed for her role as Malva Christie, left jaws dropping as she attended the Irish Film and Television Awards.

Outlander star Jessica Reynolds left fans stunned as she flaunted off her striking new look, as she’s chopped off her locks in a bold new hairdo.

Jessica, who played Malva Christie in Outlander, looked “almost unrecognisable” as she shared snaps from attending the Irish Film and Television Awards on her Instagram page.

She looked incredible in a sheer white cut out dress, flaunting her new pixie cut and fans soon rushed to the comments of the post, which was shared with her 32.6k followers.

One person commented, “loveeeeee the short hair!,” as another gushed, “Glow girl!!,” alongside flame and heart-eye emojis.

The post was soon flooded with flames and hearts, as people showered the star with compliments on her striking new look.

In the book series of Outlander, Malva is described as “a tallish girl, with soft black curls and almond-shaped light gray eyes, an oval-shaped face, and pale complexion.”

The actress, who played Malva Christie in the Starz show, was killed off the last season of Outlander in an incredible ‘Who Dunnit?’ cliffhanger.

Despite not being a very well liked character on Fraser’s Ridge, Jessica took to Twitter to thank Outlander fans for supporting her during her short stint on the show.

She wrote: “The response to ep 6 has been overwhelming ! I’ve never seen a fandom like it.

“Thank you for loving (& despising) my troubled wee Malva. What a journey. Love love love to you all thank you @Outlander_STARZ.”
