The images for the Outlander season 7 finale are out, and they show us that William needs help with Frances. What can we expect in the episode?
The time has come to look inside the Outlander season 7 finale with the release of the images. We know from the promo that this is a big episode for Denny to save Claire’s life, but there is a lot more going on.
Something that stands out in the images is the focus on William. The last episode left with him learning that Jane had been arrested for the murder of Captain Harkness. Frances was understandably angry with William, not understanding what William had been sent to do or being captured. Now William needs to find a way to help her.
William needs help with Frances
We get a few images of William turning to various people for help with the Jane and Frances situation. The first set of images are of William and Lord John Grey. Despite William’s anger toward John, he knows that John could help with the current situation with Jane.
Jane has been arrested and is clearly being held in some sort of house. There’s even an image of Wiliam outside of the house, suggesting from what looks like Jamie breaking into the house in the promo that the two will work together to get to Jane. However, William needs to get to Jamie first, and that takes us to another set of images.
It’s clear that William takes Frances to Claire and Jamie. He likely doesn’t know what’s happened to Claire yet, so he’s going at a difficult time. However, Jamie will do what he needs to protect an innocent child and a woman who clearly killed to protect her sister. Jamie understands that need to protect.
Is that an image of Claire in the Outlander season 7 finale?
There’s an image of a woman standing by a window, with the shutters open. The woman is wearing a shawl around her, and it certainly looks like Claire Fraser. We know that Claire will survive, even though there’s an image of Denny that looks like he’s about to deliver bad news, but will she be up and walking by the end of the episode?
Most likely. I could see the end of the season seeing Claire and Jamie head back to Fraser’s Ridge. We may even see them reunite with Brianna, Roger, and the children. After all, there’s an image of Roger and Buck at Lallybroch, and they’re shocked to see someone. Is that Brianna and the kids?
Other images give us a look at Young Ian and Rachel, as Young Ian gets back to the church. It’s great to see this young couple together. Now we need to see things settle down for the two of them a little so that they can start a family.
