Home and Away spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.
Home and Away’s Roo Stewart panics as she makes a disturbing discovery about her new foster child Eliza Sherwood.
Roo can’t believe what she’s seeing as she stumbles across evidence which suggests that Eliza could be a secret arsonist.
Upcoming episodes on Channel 5 see Eliza move to Summer Bay after Roo agrees to take her in.
Australian viewers have already been introduced to Eliza, played by show newcomer Martha Kate Morgan.
In new scenes, Roo decides to give Eliza the benefit of the doubt despite repeated warnings that she shouldn’t be trusted.
By this point, Roo’s suspicious friend Marilyn Chambers has spoken to Eliza’s previous foster family, who believe that she burned their house down in a shocking arson plan.
Tane Parata has also warned Roo that Eliza’s behaviour during his mentorship sessions at the Surf Club has been far from acceptable.
A report in Aussie magazine TV Week has revealed that Marilyn ultimately chooses to move out from Roo and Alf’s home after being spooked by veiled threats from Eliza.
Left alone in the house with the troublesome teen, Roo decides to do some detective work to finally find out who’s telling the truth.
Roo searches through a treasure box that Eliza brought to the Bay with her, which contains a scratched-out photo, a lighter and a knife that mysteriously went missing from Alf’s possession.
Before a deeply unsettled Roo can do anything, she finds Eliza standing in the doorway. Is the teen’s menacing behaviour about to spiral out of control?
A recent trailer on air in Australia has warned that this story is about to “explode”, but viewers will have to stay tuned to find out exactly what Eliza has in store.
