Home and Away’s Cash Newman risks his career next week as he takes his feud with Tim Russell to the next level.
Cash loses control by involving himself in a heated showdown with Tim at the police station, in full view of his more senior colleague Rose Delaney.
Upcoming episodes see Cash become obsessed with investigating Tim’s past.
Cash’s ex-fiancée Eden Fowler has decided to pursue a relationship with Tim, but the Summer Bay policeman is convinced that he isn’t right for her.
When Cash resorts to stalking Tim’s social media pages, he finds pictures showing him with a mystery married woman called Petra.
Cash finds Petra’s business website and calls her up, hoping that she’ll share some damning information on Tim.
However, Tim soon tells Eden that Petra is his sister and wasn’t pleased to be contacted by Cash. Eden is mortified by her ex’s attempts to dig up dirt and she vows not to let Cash control her life anymore.
Cash refuses to give up his mission, so he investigates Tim’s therapy website and finds a negative review from a woman called Nerida Mullins. He contacts her and asks for a meeting.
Nerida informs Cash that she started dating Tim when he was still her counsellor. Cash is triumphant, seeing this as another example of Tim’s unprofessional behaviour.
Later, Cash confronts Eden and Tim. Eden refuses to believe Cash’s latest claims, while Tim insists that Nerida is lying.
Concerned that Cash’s behaviour is spiralling into full-blown harassment, Tim soon heads to the police station and asks him one last time to back off.
The altercation threatens to turn physical and Rose is forced to step in. Tim hasn’t behaved well but it’s particularly concerning to see Cash so out of control in his own workplace – what will Rose do about it?
