E4 Married At First Sight’S Erica Reveals Surprising Bond With Co-Star – But Slams ‘Horrible’ Groom

The star of Married At First Sight UK, Erica Roberts, opened out about her unexpected bond with an unlikely co-star, but she also criticized the “horrible” groom for making her time in the experiment difficult.

When the 26-year-old brunette bombshell and Jordan Gayle joined the experiment late, they immediately became a fan favorite on the popular E4 show. She just signed on as a brand ambassador for BPerfect Cosmetics. Viewers soon commended Erica for her no-nonsense attitude to dating and marriage, as well as her resilience in relationships and love. That being said, she didn’t feel very welcome among others who had already forged enduring friendships and marriages.

Avid fans of the 2023 series will know that Erica immediately appeared to clash with fellow co-star Tasha Jay. During a retreat getaway for the couples, the two brides clashed when Erica suggested that she and Jordan were equally as strong a couple as Tasha and her beau, Paul Liba. This didn’t go down well with Tasha, who was a self-confessed ‘hot-head’ and the pair ended up in a fiery row.

The drama didn’t stop there though, as Tasha labelled Erica ‘a tramp’ at the next dinner party, with the pair going on to become embroiled in several more awkward moments. Despite it seeming as though the Tasha and Erica ended the experiment on dire terms, as it turns out, the pair are now good friends.

After being announced as BPerfect Cosmetics’ newest brand ambassador, Erica talked exclusively to The Mirror about her unexpected new friendship with Tasha, who she claims ‘has made the greatest effort’ out of all the cast members since the program concluded.

“It’s surprising how well Tasha and I get along these days. When I initially joined the experiment, I believe we had a falling out. Even while I wouldn’t say I had anything against her, I feel like we may have had a disagreement. We talk a lot these days, and she’s most likely among the ones who have reached out and tried the hardest,” Erica disclosed.

“It’s crazy and towards the end of filming, Jordan and I would always go around to Tasha and Paul’s apartment and have drinks and stuff. We did become friends towards the end which was actually really nice. We get along just fine now and I would consider her as a friend. Who would have seen that coming,” she jokingly added.

While Erica has built bridges with Tasha, the same can’t be said for her now non-existent friendship with fellow co-star Luke Worley – who has booted from the show after showing violence towards Erica and Jordan. In explosive scenes which aired earlier this month, Luke left the show alongside his wife Jay after the experts insisted they had a ‘no violence policy’ and so, Luke was sent packing.

Sharing some insight into how she feels about Luke now, Erica didn’t hold back when she described the Essex native as ‘horrible’. “When it comes to Luke. No – absolutely not. I have no interaction with him. I have zero respect for that man and I think he’s horrible.”

It happens just before Jordan and Luke are scheduled to square off in a boxing bout in February, which should resolve their dispute on MAFS UK. Luke verified the bout last week, and Jordan elaborated in a TikTok video, saying that the location and fight date have been arranged.

Speaking to The Mirror, Erica attacked the criticism Jordan has had for participating in the fight, despite the fact that he was quite forthcoming about experiencing violence during the experiment. “People are saying that Jordan and I were set off by violence, but the venue and press conferences had been scheduled.

“But I do believe that someone coming into your home, like Luke, and attacking you and threatening you when you’ve had a past around violence is very triggering.

“However, that’s very different to a professional sport. So I think if they’re going to sort it out and settle it, I think doing it the gentleman way in the ring is probably the best way to do it,” Erica added.
