Ariana Madix, star of Vanderpump Rules, most likely had no idea that she would be making it to the semifinals when she signed up for Dancing with the Stars. Regarding her high school dance team, she said that she was the weakest dancer. But since joining DWTS, Ariana has grown. Almost the entire season, she has been at the top of the leaderboard, or very close to it. Despite having injuries to her back and foot, she has been training hard.

Ariana and Pasha Pashkov’s Rumba to the tune Cruel Summer earned them 37 out of 40 points on Taylor Swift Night. Ariana is now praising the women that supported her all the way from Scandoval to the ballroom.

Ariana has a strong girl squad from Vanderpump Rules

It’s incredible. Ariana told Page Six, “I am surrounded by the most incredible women.” She sang Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney, and Lala Kent’s praises. Kristen was, in fact, present at Taylor’s tribute event.

“I think that the more I realize just how important those female friendships are like from now until the day we die,” Ariana continued, “and the older I get, the more I learn and grow as a woman.” The Pump Rules actress referred to her pals as “everything.”

She continued, “They’re what keeps me going, they’re what encourages me. They’re here cheering me on, and I’m just so lucky to have them,” Ariana added.

Guest judge Mandy Moore, who choreographed Taylor’s Eras Tour, was asked which performance Taylor would have liked the most. “I think she would have loved the rumba, Ariana and Pasha’s. It was really well choreographed. And, you know, she’s an artist,” Mandy said. “She appreciates when something is well executed. It will be interesting to see! I’ll have to talk to her when I see her [next].”

Ariana and Pasha were stunned when Page Six told them about Mandy’s remark. Pasha said that Mandy’s comment was a “compliment and a half.”

“I’m gonna need like three to five business days to process that information. I am mind-blown,” Ariana said. “I’ve been such a fan. Thank you, Mandy. Wow.”

So, who from VPR should take on the ballroom next? “I feel like Scheana [Shay] would be great, and you know who else would be really great is James [Kennedy]. He’d be fun to watch,” Ariana explained.
