I Believe Big Brother 26’S Tucker Des Lauriers May Be Evicted (Why He Should Get The Chance To Return)

Big Brother 26’s most chaotic houseguest, Tucker Des Lauriers, could be evicted if he loses the AI Arena during the next live eviction episode, but if he does get booted, he should be given a chance to return. Tucker, one of the 16 houseguests on Big Brother 26, has been a breath of fresh air for the longtime competition series. Having started out seeming like the average competition beast who would be able to pick off the weaker players in the game one by one, Tucker has proven that his style of gameplay is unlike any player in BB history.

Tucker has been working hard to play the game in a way that it’s never been played, and I believe he’s made his mark on Big Brother history. Prioritizing his competitive prowess and a chaotic social strategy, Tucker has been trying to play Big Brother in a more honest, genuine manner than it’s been played in the past. While he’s still lying and scheming, Tucker’s gameplay has been refreshing for viewers although he’s been winning nearly every competition he’s played in. With Tucker on the nomination block, he could be evicted but should have another shot at the game.

Tucker Is The Biggest Threat In The Game

He’s Socially & Physically Strong

While Tucker has been targeted from the earliest days of the game, he’s easily one of the biggest competitive threats in the Big Brother house. Tucker’s physical prowess is obvious from his stature and size, but his abilities go far beyond the physical. While his competition abilities have been great when it comes to physically taxing competitions and endurance-based challenges, he’s also been great at puzzles and strategic competitions. With a ton of different skills at his disposal, Tucker has been noted as one of the toughest competitors in the game since the beginning of the summer on BB 26.

Tucker’s fellow houseguests have been discounting his mental abilities in the game, which is likely more of an advantage for the competition beast. Tucker’s charismatic, honest personality has made him struggle in situations where he needs to openly lie to others, but he’s been able to align himself strategically with players who have completely different skill sets in the competition. Working with Rubina Bernabe, T’Kor Clottey, Kimo Apaka, and Joseph Rodriguez, Tucker has aligned himself with the more socially strategic players in the game in order to position himself as the physically competitive minded person in the large majority alliance.

Tucker’s Showmance With Rubina Has Gotten Serious

It Could Threaten Other Houseguests

Although Tucker shared early on in his Big Brother experience that he wasn’t looking to get into a showmance, his time with Rubina has changed his perspective entirely. While Tucker and Rubina tried to fight their connection from the earliest days of BB 26, the pair have found themselves locked in on a sweet showmance that they’ve both said they hope to continue outside of the series. Having described each other as cut from the same cloth, Tucker and Rubina’s showmance has become more public in the BB house, which could make them a much larger target in the game.

Tucker Could Lose The AI Arena

He Lost The Most Recent Power Of Veto

As one of the three nominees sitting on the block during the live eviction episode, Tucker will have to face off against Makensy Manbeck and Angela Murray in the Big Brother AI Arena, which will secure one of the nominee’s safety. While Tucker’s two visits to the AI Arena have seen him winning the competition and securing his safety, Tucker could lose out on the third round of competition in the BB twist. Even though he has a better track record of winning competitions than the other houseguests, Makensy has won an AI Arena of her own, creating some doubt.

If Tucker Is Evicted, He Should Get A Battle Back

His Run Shouldn’t End This Way

Although Tucker could still win the AI Arena, it’s likely that if he loses, the rest of the house will choose to evict him from the game. As one of the biggest threats in the game, Tucker poses a threat to many of the other houseguests who are hoping to win the $750,000 grand prize. Even though Tucker has votes from Rubina, Kimo, and Joseph, he may not have votes from other houseguests who perceive him as a threat in the game. If he does wind up evicted, Tucker deserves another shot at the game with a battle back.

While Big Brother hasn’t done a traditional battle back in some of the more recent seasons, they did feature the Zombie Week twist as a battle back on Big Brother 25. If Tucker is evicted, Big Brother should be prepared to have a battle back with him and the next one or two evictees, allowing him the chance to get back into the house for another shot at the game. While this could happen whether Tucker is evicted or not, the most refreshing player Big Brother has seen in years deserves a second shot in the game the most.

Big Brother airs Wednesdays & Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
