Big Brother season 26’s Angela Murray may have been accused of being a producer plant, but her shocking safety after a few major social blunders is creating new questions about her game. Angela started Big Brother season 26 as one of the 16 houseguests in a summer-long power struggle to win $750,000. One of the longest-running reality TV shows on the air, Big Brother 26 is the newest season of the series and has revitalized the gameplay after a few stagnant seasons. Big Brother introduced Angela along with the rest of the houseguests, not realizing that she would be controversial.

Angela Murray’s gameplay has been questioned on Big Brother 26 , and now she might have a path to stick around.

After the Big Brother 26 live feeds revealed that Angela was taken off the nomination block by veto holder and fellow nominee Tucker Des Lauriers, it was revealed (via TV Shows Ace) that Kenney Kelley seemingly had his own plans to keep Angela out of trouble. Kenney has been on the nomination block for the first three weeks. Though it appeared he was struggling to get along with Angela, Kenney recently shared that he wants to keep her safe moving forward, even though the rest of the house views her as a major target in the Big Brother house.

Why Are Big Brother 26 Players Protecting Angela Murray?

Angela Has Been A Target Since Week 1

Angela’s appearance on Big Brother 26 has been on borrowed time throughout the season; after her first week as Head Of Household, she had everyone on edge. Kenney was originally one of Angela’s major adversaries, but it appears the pair has reached some sort of deal as Kenney has shared he doesn’t plan to nominate Angela if he wins Head Of Household in the future. While the rest of the Big Brother houseguests appear to see Angela as a target, some realize that keeping Angela in the game may be a better movefor the long term.

While Angela’s social game has been difficult on the house and caused some major issues in her gameplay, the rest of the houseguests have taken notice that her erratic behavior has subsided in the last week. Along with the fact that Angela is now more subdued, her gameplay isn’t really threatening to anyone else in the house. Though she was able to win the first Head Of Household of the summer, Angela isn’t a competitive threat to the rest of the house, and her social game likely won’t recover from the earlier days of Big Brother 26.

With Angela potentially staying in the house for the long run as both Tucker and Kenney have an interest in protecting her, it’s possible that her game could be far from over. Though the other side of the Big Brother 26 house wants to take Angela out sooner rather than later, her gameplay has settled down, and there are already people who think keeping Angela on Big Brother for the long haul could be better for them in the end. While Angela may not have planned to be carried on Big Brother 26, it could be good for her game.

Big Brother airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
