Big Brother 26 Episode 7 Recap: The Angela (And Tucker) Show

Wednesday night’s episode of Big Brother 26 was The Angela and Tucker Show. From Angela’s tears and more messy gameplay to Tucker’s show-stealing quotes and comedic timing, there was little room for anyone else. OK, I take that back. T’Kor showed up as a very special guest star.

The episode picked up right after the nomination ceremony. Kenney feels good being up against Angela and Lisa. Angela says she feels fine also. And so does Lisa. Well, someone has to be the target. But none of them seem to think it’s them.

After the ceremony, we get to see Quinn and Brooklyn discuss the Pentagon alliance and they decide that they aren’t feeling too secure in that group since they were clearly the add-ons. And that leads to a Quinn alliance montage. As in he is in a lot of alliances with a lot of people. But only one of those is Quinn’s real alliance: “The Visionaries” with T’Kor and Kimo.

And speaking of alliances, Cam reminds us of the Core: himself, Cedric and Chelsie. And they’re all outside talking about how tight they are. T’Kor comes up and lets them know that she will be looking out for them but they have to be careful so people don’t think another Cookout is forming. So that group of four doesn’t have an alliance, but they do have an understanding that they will protect each other.

Meanwhile, Angela sees the four of them talking and she lets us know that group is who she and Quinn need to work with. So she goes to Quinn, points out the group talking and says “That’s the group. But Quinn takes that as she’s telling him that four is the group they need to be worried about. Whether or not that’s what she meant is up in the air. She says she meant one thing, while Quinn took that as she meant another.

It’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Chelsie, Angela, Lisa and Kenney are Brooklyn and Joseph.

And then we head right in the competition. For this veto, the players have to build a tower tall enough to strike a laser. It’s really just a new take on the stacking competition.

And Kenney runs away with this competition and wins the Power of Veto.

But before we get to any other veto talk, Cedric lets Chelsie know what Quinn said about Angela watching the group talking in the back yard. Chelsie calls Angela to squash that immediately. And Angela knows it came from Quinn. So she goes to find Quinn and along the way, tells Lisa to “wipe that stupid smirk off her face.”

And then Angela lets Quinn know that he broke her heart by telling people what she said. And she’s all made at Quinn as if she didn’t say anything. T’Kor comes along and says “but you said it, so what did you mean by it?” T’Kor mentions how that could look to people based on season 23 and 24. Angela breaks into tears and she says race had nothing to do with it and says that really hurts that T’Kor would even say that. T’Kor is over it and leaves. Then Angela goes to Cedric and tells him she never meant anything by that and that race has nothing to do with it. Angela eventually apologizes to T’Kor who accepts it, showing T’Kor is a true class act. What was less impressive is Quinn admitting he only told that to create this exact drama.

After this whole mess, Tucker thinks this would be one week it’s safe to offer himself as a pawn. Between Lisa and Angela, he thinks he can beat them in the Arena, but at the very least beat them in the votes easily.

But when Tucker finds out that Makensy has America’s Veto, he goes to Chelsie and tells her that he will still be her pawn, but she should first put up Makensy so she has to use her veto, then he can go up. Of course that’s not how that power works, but they had to insert another option for Chelsie to attempt to add some suspense to this episode.

So let’s find out what happens. Kenney, of course uses the veto on himself, but Chelsie decides not to flush out Makensy’s power and puts Tucker up as the pawn.
