There’s unfinished business in Tulsa — and Robert Patrick is ready to settle the score. Paramount+’s Tulsa King is turning up the heat in Season 3 by reuniting two action icons with some serious history. Patrick has officially joined the cast, stepping into the role of liquor kingpin Jeremiah Dunmire — what a great name — and he’s got one target in his crosshairs:
Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi. And if you’re sensing some déjà vu, you’re not alone. Fans of 1997’s Cop Land will remember Stallone’s small-town sheriff gunning down Patrick’s corrupt cop in a slow-motion, shotgun-to-the-chest showdown. Now, nearly three decades later, Patrick’s ready to return fire — with a vengeance.
“You got me last time @TheSlyStallone (aka ‘The General’)… Let’s see how we do @TulsaKing Season 3! I’m coming for you!” Patrick teased on X.
What Can We Expect From ‘Tulsa King’ Season 3?
In Tulsa King Season 3, Patrick’s Dunmire is a powerful liquor mogul, but the real chaos may come from his son Cole (played by SEAL Team’s Beau Knapp), a reckless trust fund kid with a violently dangerous and reckless streak in him. With Manfredi still trying to build his empire, the arrival of the Dunmires is undoubtedly going to shake up the streets of Tulsa in a big way.
Tulsa King is already a smash hit and adding a character actor and villain in the shape of Patrick — who served as the primary antagonist for another pulpy thriller series last year in Prime Video’s Reacher Season 2 — is a sign that we can expect more of the same, and more of the same is what audiences like, after the series shattered records with over 21 million viewers for its premiere and continues to ride Stallone’s charisma and chaos to critical acclaim.
For Patrick — the man who’s been gunned down by everyone from Arnold Schwarzenegger to Bruce Willis to Demi Moore — Tulsa King is his chance to strike back. And fans are here for it. So the General better watch out, because Tulsa, Oklahoma is about to go from a city into a battlefield.
Tulsa King Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Paramount+. Season 3 is currently in production.
