Home and Away spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.
Home and Away’s Harper Matheson gets trapped with creepy newcomer Eliza Sherwood as she goes into labour in dramatic scenes.
Eliza will finally be confirmed as either hero or villain as Harper is left at her mercy in a high-stakes storyline.
With just three days to go before she’s due to have her baby, Harper seeks a distraction by trying to bond with Eliza.
Aware that Eliza hasn’t been getting along with her foster parent Roo Stewart, caring Harper extends the hand of friendship by taking the troubled teen out for a drive.
There are terrifying consequences for Harper as she goes into labour during the trip away from the Bay.
Harper begs Eliza to get her some help, but the unpredictable 14-year-old stands transfixed and looks set to do nothing.
When the baby’s dad Tane Parata calls and demands to know where they are, Eliza remains uncooperative and stays silent.
Will Eliza snap out of it and make sure Harper gets the help she needs? Or will she put the safety of Harper and the baby at risk?
In Thursday’s episode (April 10) on Australian screens, Tane tried to warn Harper that she was taking a major risk by spending time with Eliza given her reputation for trouble.
Still stung after a messy split from Tane, defiant Harper refused to listen to his advice. Marilyn Chambers also urged caution, revealing her own history of being threatened by Eliza, but didn’t have much luck convincing Harper either.
Writing on Instagram, one fan posted: “Eliza is troubled and Harper is going to be sorry she didn’t listen to Tane.”
Another added: “Harper you should be aware that Eliza is a problem child – just take care like Marilyn has said.”
Striking a more optimistic tone, a third suggested: “Hopefully this is a wake up call for Eliza and she will help Harper.”
