Cash can’t give Eden an answer on their future, as he thinks the situation is still too complicated with Nerida on the loose. Eden is shocked as Cash confesses that he made a deal with Nerida in return for her safety. After encouraging Eden to stay at home to make sure she’s safe, Cash asks Townsend to maintain a public façade that he’s still the prime suspect. He fears that if Nerida finds out she’s under suspicion, she could be dangerous.
It’s too late for Cash’s idea, as Nerida’s details have already been released to the media. Cash encourages Eden to stay by Tim’s side at the hospital, where there’s police protection.
Meanwhile, Rose is called to stop Kirby’s demonstration. She’s forced to carry out her police duty, even though she was part of the planning meeting the day before. When Kirby and the other protestors refuse to move, Rose is forced to call for back-up.
Leah takes things to another level by spray-painting a Contact Agency and gets arrested for vandalism, while the others get taken to the police station for inciting the protest. Everyone ends up getting a slap on the wrist, apart from Leah who continues the rally chant in front of the officers.
