A Hollywood stuntman has admitted he found it “super cool” to work on NCIS and praised the show’s star Mark Harmon.

The stuntman has also worked on the NCIS spinoff show NCIS: Origins and revealed what things are like behind-the-scenes. Viewers have been slamming NCIS: Origins, with some even describing it as “terrible.”

“I work on the new Origins show and cast is amazing on that one too!” Danny wrote. His comments come after some NCIS fans criticized showrunners after they canceled NCIS: Hawaii while keeping NCIS: Origins.

NCIS: Hawaii was canceled after three seasons, with CBS executives saying they made the “tough decision” after evaluating “the financials and the performance overall.” Following the cancelation, it was announced NCIS: Origins has received a full season order at CBS.

Viewers aren’t happy and many believe NCIS: Hawaii should have been saved instead. Taking to X to share their thoughts, one person posted, “I’m sorry but I just can’t get into NCIS Origins. CBS screwed up big time by canceling NCIS Hawaii.”

Another said, “Watching @NCISOrigins. It’s alright. Might grow on me more. Missing @NCISHawaiiCBS and think this was not a good trade, tho,” while a third viewer commented, “Catching up on my DVR now. Man, @CBSNews really screwed the pooch. NCIS Hawaii was a great show. Their new CSI Origins is terrible.”
“So I’ve watched a few episodes of #NCISOrigins and it’s ok lol its not like groundbreaking or anything like that this could’ve of just been like a miniseries or sumn on paramount + #NCISHawaii should have remained in play,” a fourth fan shared.

NCIS: Origins was given a full season order at CBS alongside the comedy Poppa’s House, according to Variety. Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, told the publication: “These shows fit seamlessly into our Monday night lineup while resonating with viewers on CBS and Paramount+.”
